Collaborating with fellow artists to shape a compelling story is at the core of why I love editing. I find fulfillment in taking on projects that push creative boundaries and challenge me to grow. I’m drawn to the fusion of artistry and technical expertise and enjoy exploring and experimenting with different approaches to amplify a narrative’s impact and emotional depth.
I specialize in shaping moments that move, provoke, and stay with people, while building tension, guiding performances, and finding the emotional core of every story I touch.
Outside of work I enjoy traveling (Japan and Paris are favorite destinations), photography, meditating, running marathons, strength training, concerts, and playing the drums.
Other fun facts about me:
🤘🏽 I was the lead singer of a death metal band as a student at the University of Michigan (Go Blue!).
🎲 Martin Scorcese’s Casino was the first movie that inspired me to pursue an editing career.
🎸 I’ve seen Pearl Jam in concert about 40 times.
🗣 Fluent in Spanish.
🎙️ I’m the creator and host of the Hollywood Editing Mentor Podcast.
